Display Cabinet

£3,000.000

Product Info

Constructed from American Black Walnut, European Walnut, Sycamore and Boxwood. Classically designed but with modern influences and construction, this piece will sit comfortably among current furniture. Two narrow and open display sections sit aside glass framed doors adorned with hand-shaped curved handles. These handles are constructed in Sycamore and framed with Walnut.

Two large glass shelves inside, shielded behind the glass framed doors, allow for ample display opportunities of small ornaments or other perhaps sentimental items. Each shelf is mounted on hand turned plugs of matching timber allowing shelf positioning to be changed freely.

The base section can be separated from the cabinet to allow for easier transportation. The cabinet sits atop the base and is positioned with locating screws. A small shadow gap has been created between the two sections, this is one of many modern design influences within the piece. The 4 elegant, tapered legs are supported with an H shaped stretcher joined at each end with half-lap dovetails. A subtle yet poignant Boxwood line has been inlaid at the bottom of each panel on the base section. Entire cabinet finished in a satin oil.
